In The News: Community Partnership and Economic Growth Forum Planned at Central Broward Regional Park
- Emphasis on Business Opportunities at FLL -
Broward County Commissioner Dale V.C. Holness, District 9, in conjunction with the Broward County Aviation Department, will host a free Community Partnership and Economic Growth Forum for small and local businesses. This forum will showcase future business opportunities at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) as the airport conducts a $1.5 billion capital improvement and renovation project over the next five years.
Date: Friday, February 25, 2011
Time: 8 a.m. to Noon
Location: Central Broward Regional Park and Stadium, Field House, 3700 N.W. 11th Place, Lauderhill, Florida 33311 (State Road 7/U.S.441 and Sunrise Blvd.)
Presentations will focus on business opportunities in the following areas: concessions, design and construction, and maintenance projects.
Also, business owners and managers will learn how to become a registered vendor and/or a certified small business vendor with Broward County.
All companies wishing to do business with the Broward County Aviation Department are encouraged to attend. This event is an excellent networking opportunity to meet future subcontractors and suppliers for upcoming projects at the Broward County Aviation Department. Attendees are encouraged to bring business cards and company materials.
